Dondi is an international Belly Dancer who resides in San Diego, California. She has taught and performed in San Diego and all over the world including Australia, Jordan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. Dondi has performed for many celebrities including Omar Sharif and was featured as "One of the 50 best things about San Diego" by San Diego Magazine. In 2000 she was awarded the prestigious title of "Belly Dancer of the Universe," Egyptian Category, at the Los Angeles Belly Dance Competition.

Dondi is one of the members of "Belly Dance Superstars" (produced by the infamous Miles Copeland), a select group of some of the best Belly Dancers in America who tour and perform around the world. She has studied with Kristy Gault, who had been a member of Bal Anat with Jamilla Salimpour and Loucianne Estes, thus gaining insight into the Turkish and folkloric aspects of Middle Eastern dance.
