Pyramids Restaurant
Intriguing decor sets the stage for unraveling the food mysteries of the Middle East. Tarek Guirguis' ten-year-old eatery specializes in rack of lamb marinated for three days and charbroiled to perfection. Beef and chicken shawarma hint at the options, which also include spanakopita, dolmades and moussaka, the lush eggplant casserole. Hummus, falafel, baba ganoush and lamb kebabs also make a welcome appearance along with other Middle Eastern favorites. An affordable, well-attended lunch buffet allows you to eat your fill of several dishes and draws patrons in throughout the week. Nightly belly dancers add a note of exoticism to the evening meal.
